We suggest the nacho platter, which is large enough to feed the family, the carnitas soft tacos, or the lulu gordita. The chicken and potato flautas and the enchiladas rojas are also delicious. Vegetarian? You won’t be disappointed! The service is friendly, and the vibe is enjoyable. They tend to get busy on weekends, so plan accordingly. But your time will be worth it.
2. Agave Express Mexican Bar & Grill
For tasty food made from only the freshest ingredients served at affordable prices, Agave hits the spot. They even have a bull far. Start with the homemade chips and salsa, and if you love spice, be sure to ask for their hot sauce. Sip on a margarita while you decide on your meal. We recommend the taco salad, the Monterey burrito, or the fajita chicken. Please drink responsibly and with moderation. Do not drink and drive. Alcohol is intended for adults of legal drinking age.
3. Guacamole Tacos & Margaritas
When you’re looking for a casual dining experience in a fun and lively atmosphere, try this establishment. Find traditional cuisines, such as tortas, burritos, tacos, and handmade margaritas. Try the loaded nachos, street tacos, or the enchiladas verdes de pollo. Or you can build your own meal, which comes with your choice of protein and a host of toppings. Vegetarians will appreciate the veggie fajitas and guacamole. The servings are generous, so we hope you have a refrigerator in your hotel!
4. Diablo Loco
When you’re craving one of the best margaritas around, visit Diablo Loco, located just a few miles south of town. They offer great service, decent prices, and thoughtful staff. We love their selection of soups and salads to start with. We suggest the sopa de pollo or the enchilada soup, or the guacamole salad or camaron salad. They also have a variety of appetizers–try the jalapenos locos or the chips with pico de gallo. For your meal, the fajitas are always an excellent choice, as are the molcajetes platters.
