2023 Chevrolet Equinox

Chevrolet offers the 2023 Equinox in four trims: LS, LT, RS, and Premier. Starting at the entry-level LS, you'll find standard features such as an acoustic laminated windshield, 17-inch wheels, power-adjustable and heated outside mirrors, LED headlights, and solar-absorbing tinted glass. Moving up to the LT adds bright lower window trim, 17-inch Bright Silver-painted wheels, body-color mirror caps, and deep-tinted rear privacy glass. Additional color options also open up at the LT level, including Harvest Bronze and Iridescent Pearl. The RS sits atop 19-inch Dark Android-painted wheels and adds black roof rails, exclusive red RS badging, Equinox badging and Chevy bowtie emblems, a blacked-out grille and surround, LED taillights, and a programmable power liftgate. The top-of-the-line Premier offers upgrades such as a hands-free power liftgate with Chevy emblem projection, 18-inch machined-face wheels, bright roof rails, fog lights, and integrated turn signals on the exterior mirrors.

No matter which 2023 Chevrolet Equinox you pick, it will be powered by the same engine. You get a 1.5-liter DOHC turbocharged four-cylinder engine coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission putting out 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. The Equinox also offers excellent fuel economy, checking in at an EPA-estimated 31 mpg highway to give you more miles between fill-ups.

All trims of the 2023 Chevy Equinox come standard with front-wheel drive, but for better handling of the elements, you can opt for the all-wheel-drive system. You'll also find a four-wheel anti-lock brake system, StabiliTrak electronic stability control system with traction control, hill start assist, and a front MacPherson strut suspension with rear four-link independent suspension as standard performance features.

Upgrade to the LT to get an overhead console and a power-adjustable driver's seat with two-way lumbar support. The RS adds dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Finally, the Premier features wireless charging, an upgraded 8-inch touchscreen, driver's seat memory settings, and a heated steering wheel.

The Chevy Safety Assist system comes standard with every 2023 Chevrolet Equinox. This system includes safety features such as automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, front pedestrian braking, lane-keep assist with lane departure warning, a following distance indicator, and a forward collision alert. You can also add optional safety features such as a safety alert seat, rear cross-traffic alert, and a lane change alert with a side blind zone alert.
